Yep, the first album will be available in Japan through Plop Distribution here.
All the lyrics for the next album are here to be read.
I’ve just put some teasers from the new album in the media section here. You may notice that ‘Fear of a wide open life’ has ended up on the album even though I said it was a web release only, but we couldn’t leave it off at the end, especially since we are enjoying playing it live so much. That’s pretty much the final track list as well. Artwork and lyrics coming soon.
Low low are signing to Other Electricities who will be releasing the forthcoming album in the US and Canada. You can also purchase the debut album directly from them at www.other-electricities.com.
The new album is pretty much at the pre-mastering stage – I’ll put some teasers on the media page soon. If things pan out right, it looks like we will be releasing the second album in the US also – more details about that soon. New gig date also – supporting the brilliant 6 Organs of Admittance 30th Novemebr at the Klondyke in Levenshulme, Manchester.
One that we probably wont end up using on the next album, but I haven’t played it to anyone else yet. I was going to put some more demos that were recorded at the time of the first album up here, but my computer wont read the cdrs anymore. O well.
We are pleased to announce that the debut album is now available from Rough Trade, as well as from the usual places.
I had to get something off an old hard-drive this afternoon and so took a peek in the old ‘working music’ folder and found this forgotten little number that was intended for the next record, maybe still is, I don’t know. It’s got a really sweet flute section from Natalia that comes in half way through. Go to the media page to download ‘We know our names’ and listen to tracks from the first album.
It’s been about two years in the making (well, two years thinking about doing it and two days making it), but the low low website is finally alive. Expect to find [ir]regular updates on new releases, web only releases, free downloads, gigs and anything else we fancy putting on here as time goes by. The debut album is out now.
